Thrust Bearing Technology -- More Horsepower!
Advanced Thrust Bearing technology from TurboCare can cut horsepower losses,
prevent overheating, prolong maintenance intervals and simplify maintenance. Some
older turbines still operate with thrust bearing cavities flooded with oil, which
robs power and efficiency. TurboCare's engineered upgrades direct oil where it's
needed while keeping the thrust cavity evacuated--cutting horsepower losses by
50% or more.
Of course, TurboCare can also recondition worn bearings to original condition
and apply new babbit in our OEM-certified Babbitt Center. If the bearing is too
damaged to repair, we can reverse-engineer it to original specifications. Whether
you choose to restore or upgrade, you'll get a thrust bearing that is as good
