If restoration of shaft journals and/or tapers is required, TurboCare can restore them assuring its reliability, functionality and possibly improving lifetime. TurboCare is familiar with any kind of repair method which is common on shaft repairs. Repairs like welding, laser cladding, thermal spraying and chrome plating, as an alternative solution to turning down to undersized dimensions of the journals, are common practice to us. The repair solution selected will be based on the rotor's application (NACE) and design requirements (API) or customer's preference.
