Accelerometers
TurboCare offers a comprehensive selection of IMI, ICP® sensors and 4-20mA vibration
transmitters in a variety of industrial packages. Each sensor utilizes proven
piezoelectric sensing technology and is housed in a welded, hermetically sealed,
stainless steel case to withstand harsh industrial environments. All vibration
sensors are provided with NIST-traceable calibrations.
Sensor types include:
-general purpose;
-high frequency;
-low frequency;
-velocity output;
-high temperature;
-temperature output;
-4-20 mA output;
-multi-axis;
-intrinsically safe.
4-20 mA Sensors and Transmitters
IMI loop-powered sensors with built in transmitters directly output a 4-20 mA
signal proportional to the rms acceleration or peak velocity component of the
input vibration. Alternatively, vibration transmitter modules are available to
connect to remotely located ICP® accelerometers and convert their analog voltage
signals to 4-20 mA for use by plant DCS, PLC, SCADA, and alarm systems.
Switch Boxes and Enclosures
Termination Boxes, Switch Boxes, and Junction Boxes assist with data collection
by terminating cables of permanently installed sensors at convenient, safe collection
points. Interface Boxes aid in reducing cable costs by converting individual sensor
wires to multi-conductor cables for longer distance cable runs. Intrinsic Safety
Barriers reduce risks associated with sensor use in hazardous, combustible environments.
Mounting Accessories
TurboCare has everything you need to insure quick, convenient and reliable installation
of your vibration sensors. We can even help make arrangements to have your equipment
installed by experienced, field technicians.
Cable Assemblies
IMI produces interconnect cables for interfacing industrial vibration sensors
to termination and switch boxes, portable data collectors, readout devices, and
recording and analysis instruments. Many standard cable lengths are available
from stock for immediate shipment.
