The use of metal containers for transportation and storage of rotors and aero assemblies provide for several benefits, like:

   - Significant reduced risk of damage to the rotors during transportation;
   - Containers can be used for both transportation and storage purposes;
   - Storage can be in either horizontal or vertical position;
   - Long term preservation can be improved by applying pressurized nitrogen
      on the container;
   - Containers can be reused multiple times, even for identical spare rotors.
