JOB OVERVIEW:
- Participate in the processing of current and new products for manufacturing and installation of these items. This could involve engineering analysis, computer aided drafting, planning, methods, materials and technical support on the products.
- Documentation of the design procedures.
- Development of analytical procedure to resolve the product technical questions.
- Interface with all groups - Sales, Engineering, Shop and Field Services.
- Support documentation of shop practices and help in process development of procedures.
- Work at enhancing automated design tools to improve Engineering productivity.
- Engineering resolution of field service and manufacturing issues.
- Participate in establishing and implementing corrective action in response to systemic deficiencies.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent.
- Computer Aided Drafting Courses and Training.
- Machinist training preferred.
- Excellent mechanical aptitude.
- Attention to detail.
- Computer experience.
- Engineering and/or design background is desired.
- Some knowledge of turbine and rotating equipment experience is preferred.
