Engineering and Operating Speed Balancing
Our operating speed bunker is your guarantee of a rotor that's been vibration tested and proven at operating speed. We pull a near-perfect vacuum in this bunker, and that allows us to speed-test rotors up to 50,000 lbs., 100 inches in diameter, and 30,000 RPM. We tune your equipment within 1.0 mm/sec RMS velocity, nearly a point below the ISO standard for acceptable residual unbalance.
Advantage: With experience on more than 3500 rotors and the most advanced analysis and simulation software in the market, our engineers can redesign your rotor-bearing systems to suppress vibration by moving potentially damaging resonant frequencies away from operating speeds.
Results: A smoother running rotor, longer bearing and seal life, and fewer maintenance turn-arounds.

Our new 1800-square-foot, Siemens-certified Babbit Center provides OEM quality work that most competitors can't match. We can handle bearings up to 30" outside diameter.

Field Overhaul
TurboCare provides comprehensive field services, including project management, labor supervision and millwright work for steam turbines, gas turbines, generators, compressors and pumps.
