Mechanical Repair of Motors and Generators
TurboCare Canada, Ltd. has the capability to complete routine and complex mechanical
repairs to motors and generators at our facility without the need to subcontract.

Examples of mechanical repairs include:

rebar rotors including manufacture of resistance rings;

manufacture shafts reliably, accurately, and economically;

cylindrical grinding, resulting in ultra-high accuracy where required, such as
in bearing journals;

repair forged rotors or repair shafts when they are difficult or risky to replace
using proprietary shaft welding technology;

restack and repair stator iron;

spin cast babbitt bearings;

sleeve end bells;

balancing using multiple machines to ensure required balance tolerances are met
