This highly motivated energetic position requires 1-3 year experience working with N/C Machinery as a Manufacturing/Process Engineer. Key responsibilities include initiating changes on major components and recognizing how these changes will affect manufacture of related components; initiating new manufacturing techniques not covered by process specifications and working within the various fields of manufacturing required to make a specific product.
JOB SCOPE/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Initiate and coordinate manufacturing projects of a nature such as: Design changes on major components, recognizing how these changes will affect manufacture of related components; new manufacturing techniques not covered by process specifications; working within the various fields of manufacturing required to make a specific product.
- Provide technical assistance to Line Supervision on day to day problems involved with the manufacturing of our products in order to produce quality products and meet our customers' delivery requirements.
- Review and analyze existing manufacturing facilities, tools, processes, standards and techniques; this includes development of new manufacturing information as required.
- Coordinate the activities of other line and staff personnel in a liaison capacity to achieve assigned objectives.
- Determine solutions to manufacturing problems that require in depth manufacturing engineering process and facility expertise.
- Prepare plans, including schedules and budgets for solving manufacturing engineering tasks identified by management.
- BS Degree in Engineering
- Requires 1-3 yrs. experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in metal cutting industry
- Pro E / Pro Man experience a plus
