Dynamic generator balancing capabilities
TurboCare's comprehensive turbine generator rotor rewind service capabilities include our Schenck high speed balance facilities. Operating conditions are simulated within the facility while at-speed rotor tests (i.e. running Insulation Resistance, AC Impedance, and Flux Probe) are performed, thus confirming that each and every rotor recondition, repair, and/or rewind is a success.
TurboCare operates two generator high speed balancing facilities, one at our Farmington, NM, USA facility and another at our Lubliniec, Poland facility. Our Farmington facility is able to accommodate rotors up to 100,000 pounds at 4,000 RPM, while our Lubliniec facility can accommodate rotors up to 160,000 pounds (80 000kg) at 4,500 RPM. Each facility also has the capabilities to conducting simulated operating conditions and a wide-range of testing and other services to compliment the balancing facilities.
