Designed around 1970, the evolution of the FIAT TG20 to the B8 present configuration has been based on our OEM experience and new technologies introduction.  This includes updates such as cooling system modifications, new row 1 vane designs, compressor redesigns, DLN combustion and coatings.

New materials and advanced cooling technologies allow the unit to operate with an increase firing temperature from the original 913°C to the present 1080°C.  This has increased the power output by 49.8% and reduced the heat rate by 12.6%.
