Prevent generator degradation
To prevent abnormal end winding vibration, especially in the 120 Hz range, TurboCare's proprietary Stator End Winding Stability System has been proven effective. This system consists of a support structure composed of glass ropes that are form-fitted to the end windings, injected with epoxy-resin, and cured. The Stator End Winding Stability System is added to the existing end windings without removing the stator coils and is recommended when winding instability is diagnosed.
The Stator End Winding Stability System incorporates the following key components: Inboard Circumferential Cone Rope Structure, Long Ties in the Winding Cone Structure, Outboard Cone Rope Structure, End Winding Thermal Expansion Slip Plane. When end basket vibration and looseness are a concern, TurboCare offers a proven retrofit; the Stator End Winding Stability System.
