Electric Motor Reliability Training
Study root causes of electric motor failure and devise strategies to improve reliability. Topics include: winding insulation failures. root failures, air gap, maintenance techniques, effects of variable frequency drives, repair options, and on-line and off line electrical testing techniques.

Focus on the analysis and correction of vibration problems associated with electric motors, including electrical and magnetic,  bearings (anti-friction, sleeve) and lubrication, foot and base problems, lateral and torsional resonance, use of Modal Analysis and Operating Deflection Shape (ODS) for troubleshooting, alignment & thermal growth, rotor forces, construction, the effects of wear and multiple repairs & repair technologies.
