Longer Component Life, Greater Compressor Efficiency

Coatings are applied for preservation, protection and sealing purposes. Some plant processes are sensitive for fouling of rotating and stationary compressor components and other processes have aggressive gasses that will attack the commonly used materials. Coatings can be applied to prevent significant compressor performance degradation. Abradable coatings help to minimize the effect of normal wear and help to sustain the efficiency of the compressor.

Protective coatings in a variety of applications are used for short and long term storage of compressor rotors and aero assemblies.
