The Most Effective Steam Turbine Seal Available
TurboCare's patented Brush Packing incorporates a unique high technology brush
seal that operates with a "zero" clearance when closed, creating a tight maze
of bristles that blocks the flow of steam. That means a dramatic reduction in
leakage, and a corresponding increase in efficiency and output. Depending on turbine
type, MW rating, and as-found clearances, sustained improvements of up to 2% in
unit efficiency and 4% in KW output are possible with a TurboCare Brush Seal Packing
upgrade.
