Conventional bell seals can rob efficiency and cause serious maintenance issues. TurboCare Articulated Bell Seals® use super-alloys and thermal design increasing efficiency and reducing maintenance cost outage after outage.

Bell seals are designed to provide freedom of movement between turbine components in order to accommodate thermal expansion during start-up and operation. During normal operation, oxide typically builds up on conventional bell seals, and they may seize, damaging the inlet pipe and increasing steam leakage. Disassembly of a seized bell seal assembly can worsen the damage and even require costly weld repairs. Articulated Bell Seals® from TurboCare can solve this common problem.
