TurboCare is an industry leader in bringing advanced technologies to turbine repairs. Our submerged-arc welding processes, for example, can restore rotors that might otherwise have to be replaced. To date we have performed more than 4,000 shaft welds for steam turbines, gas turbines, axial and centrifugal compressors, hot gas expanders, boiler feed pumps and more, as well as approximately 750 steam turbine wheel restorations, including more than 25 with 12Cr material.

Sub-arc rotor weld-up is often a critical component of TurboCare's engineered upgrades. A total TurboCare upgrade package can lower component stress, reduce vibration, and update the turbine design to current engineering standards. The result: new horizons in turbine efficiency, output and reliability.
